Important launch note

This is a storefront-ready draft based on the current local implementation. Confirm actual hosting, analytics, payment, email and delivery providers before publishing.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Engraine may handle personal information when you browse the website, contact the studio, create a personalised order or request corporate gifting support.

2. Information you choose to provide

This can include your name, email, phone number, delivery details, order information, recipient names, messages, photographs, logos, artwork and details included in an enquiry. Please share only information needed for the request and ensure you have permission to provide information about another person.

3. Website and device information

The current storefront stores cart contents, wishlist choices and an explicit light or dark theme preference in your browser. Your device preference is used by default until you choose a theme. Clearing browser storage may remove these preferences.

If analytics, payment, fraud-prevention or delivery services are enabled, their providers may receive technical or transaction information needed to perform those services. This policy should be updated with their identities before production launch.

4. Why information is used

Information may be used to answer enquiries, prepare proofs, personalise and fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain records, improve the service and meet legal obligations. We should not use submitted personalisation artwork for unrelated marketing without permission.

5. How information may be shared

Information may be shared only as reasonably needed with service providers supporting payments, production, hosting, communications, delivery, professional advice or legal compliance. We do not describe personal information as being sold.

6. Retention and security

Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, support, accounting, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards should be used, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You may ask about the personal information held about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, withdraw consent for optional uses, or raise a concern by emailing hello@engraine.in. Some information may need to be retained for completed transactions or legal obligations.

8. Children and third-party links

The website is not intended for children to submit personal information independently. Links to third-party websites are governed by those parties’ own privacy practices.

9. Updates

This policy may change when website features, providers or legal requirements change. Material updates should be reflected on this page with a revised date.
